- December 8th - Day Star Christmas taping for all elementary students.
- December 9th - Christmas Program - Come see the elementary students perform in our annual Christmas music program in the Sanctuary at 7:00 pm (Dress rehearsal at 2:30pm).
- December 10th - 11th - Varsity Basket Ball tournament.
- December 13th-17th - Final exams. High School dismissed at noon.
- December 16th - All Aboard! PTO Elementary Polar Express Pajama Day
Ticket Cost $ -Any Non-Perishable Food item to be donated to Interfaith Ministries.
Wear your best pajamas, fuzziest slippers and coziest robe to school on Thursday, December 16th. We will journey to the theater at 8:45am to see the movie Polar Express! Our Polar Express Café will be serving cookies and milk for your onboard refreshments. At 11am our train will pull into the station and release our passengers to lunch and on to Christmas Parties.
- Train Regulations- Pajamas must be weather and school appropriate. Girls who choose to wear a dress type (gown) pajama will need to wear leggings and a sweater/robe.
- December 17th - All students half day for Christmas break. Classes resume on January 4th, 2011.
- December Service Project - Elementary Honor Society
Elementary National Honor Society's service project will be filling the wish list for the Boys and Girls at the Boys and Girls Harbor.
- Between now and December 15 any donations of scarves, gloves, soaps, shampoos, toothbrushes, and miscellaneous toiletries will be welcome. Collections points will be in each classroom. We are hoping to send joy and happiness to these children. Thank You for your support.

CLCS and Discovery Kingdom have hired a Security Guard, Rodrick Jenkins, to help patrol the parking lot from 7:00 am to 9:00 am and from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

- This Friday, August 20th, at 7:00 PM is our annual MEET THE TEACHER night at CLCS. Please make plans to come and meet your childs teacher, view schedules, sign up for sports or electives, and/or finish up any last minute registration items that need to be taken care of. The start of school will be Monday, August 23rd, at 8:30 am.
