On Monday, the CLCS Jr. Varsity Team fought to defend their home gym and came away with a win against Pearland Eagle Heights Jr. Varsity. After their win Monday, the CLCS JV Team has a record of 3-2. The CLCS Jr. High & Varsity Volleyball Teams traveled to Central Christian on Tuesday for a non-district game and came home with back-to-back wins! The Junior High Volleyball Team improved their overall record to 7-1. The Varsity is 7-3 overall and is in fourth place in district standings.
The Varsity Team heads to Alvin Living Stones for the annual Varsity Tournament on Thursday & Saturday. Pool play begins in the afternoon on Thursday and Bracket play takes place on Saturday. Please visit www.lscstourney.com for more details.

The 2010 CLCS Junior Varsity Volleyball Team traveled to Alvin Living Stones last weekend for their annual JV Tournament. The two-day tournament ended Friday with the team seated in third place in their pool. After a slow start Saturday, the JV team finished in Fourth Place in the Silver Bracket. Congratulations to Sophomore Jessa Vochaska for earning All-Tournament honors. Go Lady Eagles! |

The 2010 CLCS Jr. High Volleyball Team traveled to Living Stones Christian School in Alvin for a tournament on September 10-11. They won 2 out of 5 matches in pool play on Friday which placed them fourth overall in the pool and into the Silver Bracket. On Saturday, the team suffered a tough loss to Lutheran South A, but came back to win against Living Stones and Southwest Christian to clench the Consolation Trophy. Congratulations to 8th grader, Lauren Chavez for being selected to the All-Tournament Team! Go Lady Eagles! |
