Grambling State University … Bachelor of Science Degree … 2003 Grambling State University … Masters Degree in Public Administration … 2006 Coach Roman begins his third year at Clear Lake Christian School as the Head Girls Softball Coach. What an overall record of 99-21 He brings several years of coaching and playing experience with him. Coach Roman coached the ladies eagles’ softball to a 15-10 record This past season his Clear Lake Christian Eagle Softball team set several school records with most wins and best finish in district. His team consisted of seven All-District Players, of which two were first team and five were second team All-District. Of those seven players, one of them made All-State status. Last season was a season of first for the lady Eagles this was the first winning season in school history. Coach Roman is highly involved at CLCS in both athletics and academics. He teaches Math and Physical Education He is enthusiastic, energetic and loves young people. He is a great asset to CLCS. Coach Roman hometown is Tallulah, Louisiana where he played Football, Basketball, Track & Field, and Power Lifting. He then went on to Grambling State University where he played Football, Track and Field while picking up his Bachelors and Masters Degrees and he is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. His coaching began at Grambling Laboratory High School and Grambling State University both in Louisiana. He has coached Football, Basketball, Track and Field, Baseball and Softball. He is an active member in the Abundant Love Church in Clear Lake Texas. Coach Roman believes that the success of a softball player comes from putting God first; being thankful and grateful for the gift of softball God has given us. Coach emphasizes fundamentals and attention to details with each specific area of his team. |
