Clear Lake Christian School (C.L.C.S.) is a fully accredited kindergarten through 12th grade institution that focuses on academic excellence within a nurturing environment. Clear Lake Christian holds memberships with the Association of Christian Schools International (A.C.S.I.), International Christian Accredited Association (I.C.A.A.), and Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (T.A.P.P.S). Clear Lake Christian School is in the heart of the Houston - Clear Lake area with the Friendswood, Pasadena and Pearland areas in close proximity.
Our mission is to develop Christian individuals who are responsible, productive members of our society by providing quality academic, social, spiritual and physical fitness opportunities and by teaching, guiding, training and inspiring today's youth in the active pursuit of wisdom.
Clear Lake Christian School was founded in 1993 under the name of Grace Christian School. It was designed to provide quality Christian Education to the Clear Lake and Bay Area of southern Houston. Since the school’s inception, we have focused on teaching students the principles of Christian leadership, self-discipline, responsibility, integrity and good citizenship.
The School has grown, and now has over 300 children in grades K-12. We also, as in previous years, will be hosting foreign exchange students. We have a science lab, computer lab, band room, choir room, and library. We offer a variety of sports programs for our male and female athletes in both high school and Jr. High.
Hours of Operation:
CLCS school hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Students may begin arriving to our gym no earlier than 7:45 a.m.
Extended care:
(6 a.m.-8:15 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.-6 p.m.) for children in kindergarten through fifth grade is offered through the school's affiliated daycare/preschool Discovery Kingdom Child Development Center (281-280-8282). Discovery Kingdom also has a drop-in program for those times you find that you will not be able to pick up your child at 3:30 P.M.
